"The 1m Valance is wonderful for keeping the sun off at the front and makes the area very pleasant, but beware as the strips don't line up with the awning. It is constructed in 3 Panels which can individually be taken up using velcro. It is also attached to a wavy valance so you have a spare in years to come. It's really helpful that this 1m valance folds up into the awning so it's fixed for the season. I was concerned that the Panels would flutter in the wind, but not so far. May Day Bank Holiday was a good test for everything as the weather was so hot!"
